Assistanse for setting up OV REC with BlueROV / BlueOS

Hi everyone,

Is there an setup guide for passing video and data stream from a BROV running BlueOS into Oceanvault recorder ?

I would like to interface the Video and Heading/ Depth etc from the BROV and a separate serial data input with the USBL Position.

Another question, Can we use data coming in from the BlueROV and data in from an Serial port at the same time? Then we can have the video feed from the BROV, Vehicle data from the BROV API and the position from the USBL in on a serial port… ?

Yes Mavlink data is coming in, but the problem is that we have a position string coming in on Serial data we would like to show on the overlay as well.

Q- Is it possible to have data from both serial and Blue ROV 2 displayed?

We need the data from the Blue ROV to display the usual stuff as Heading, depth etc. but we also need the position to be displayed on the overlay. This is coming in on a serial ASCII string like this:

X: 451234.12, Y: 7001234.12
X: 451234.12, Y: 7001234.12
X: 451234.12, Y: 7001234.12
…

Is it possible in Ocean vault recorder to display data from 2 sources? If not is it possible with your Oceanvault Data Server to combine the to data streams?

In this case you need the Data Server software to take both strings and mix it into one.
